He believes that trapped within every person is the seed of greatness and he is on a mission to help people discover and nurture their God given potential so they can lead purpose driven and impactful lives. Apostle Richard is the visionary and founder of God’s Power Ministries (GPM) , a dynamic apostolic and prophetic ministry which he pioneered in 2010 alongside his wife Reverend Patrice Amoaye. The diverse and vibrant multi-site ministry is headquartered in Sydney Australia.
The mandate to Raise Champions, through God’s Power for Kingdom advancement propels Apostle Richard to serve and empower people from all walks of life in a variety of ways including preaching, teaching, mentorship and writing. He is the author of Decoding the Mystery of Excellence, Power for Exploits and The Excellence of Wisdom; and he wrote ‘Not Perfect’ which is featured on the Greater Grace Power Worship Album. He also shares messages of hope and empowerment through a dedicated community magazine called the Prophetic Voice. Not only is he an inspired writer, but he is an astute prophetic preacher and minister of the word for GPM and Richard Amoaye Ministries. He also teaches at the Richard Amoaye Prophetic School which is dedicated to enabling and empowering individuals seeking truth and an understanding of the prophetic ministry and gift.
Apostle Richard came to the saving grace of Christ in his late teenage years and his encounter led him to serve at Power Chapel Worldwide where he was under the tutelage and mentorship of his father in the Lord Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng. Within a relatively short period of accepting Jesus Christ and serving in church, Apostle Richard also received the call into ministry. As an itinerant minister for over a decade, he served around Africa, Europe, North America, and Australasia through prophetic crusades, leadership seminars and church revivals before being called to Sydney Australia. Apostle Richard’s love for God knows no bounds and it is what continues to propel him to share the gospel, and offer counsel and advice to many including leaders in Christendom and beyond.
